"A Beautiful Life" animation by Chinny(Jason Milligan) is up...
Taking Monc's song and story Jason Milligan has single-handedly completed the first 90 secs(effectively a highlights trailer) of the Monc song "A Beautiful Life"...
A fantastical story of a young girl who is visted by a giant magic white cat. They fly off together on a nightime adventure over the dark city where the girl whitnesses the cats magic powers, as he changes the demons and distractions in peoples lives into things of hope and love...click here to see it...we're now needing to raise some $$

We are very sad to say goodbye to our mate and first drummer Dan"Birdy"Morris.
Dan died yesterday from undetected kidney problems which in turn caused a cardiac arrest. Dan played drums on the "M" double album and the "Guilty" and "Away" EP's. His drum samples were also used extensively on the "Speak..." album. We played our first 18 months of live shows with him, initially he played cajon and percussion with Monc and Donna on the very first ever Monc gigs in LA. He had a very unique approach to drumming, mixing many Indian and African drums in with his kit and always having new ideas to try. We called him "Birdy" due to his many birds who lived with him at his home...here's a pic of Dan on one of our very first shows...Farewell Birdy, we're sorry you left so soon.
Thanks for the rhythm, we'll see you on the other side...

Monc completes first stage of recording 2008 album, click here for pics...
Monc and drummer Ronnie Manaog recorded all the drums for the next Monc Epic in just two days... Everything was recorded LIVE to 2" tape, (something Monc has been looking forward to doing for a long time and will continue to do for all future projects!!)...all vocals and bass will also be recorded to tape for the depth of sound and all-round analog texture to bring out The best possible results...
Monc is expecting to have the new record ready for release by March 2008.
